The Joint Replacement Institute

Rotator Cuff Injuries

Push play to listen to Gary Pushkin, MD, as heard on WYPR (01:48)

Our Joint Institute Unit provides patients with a friendly, at-home like atmosphere where they receive post operative care. Rehabilitation is provided directly on the unit and most patients are walking three days after surgery.

Our team of experts provides patients with the latest technolgy and procedures, including computer-guided knee replacement surgery.

Once patients are identified as candidates for joint surgery, education about their procedure begins. We offer patients an opportunity to discuss concerns, problems or fears regarding surgery, and we encourage family members to participate in these sessions. Patients are instructed on what to expect from the surgery and can view educational videos and discuss the joint replacement decision with a trained team of professionals.
