Karen Robertson-Keck

Vice President, MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center

Karen Robertson-Keck is Vice President of Human Resources at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. With 433 licensed beds and a team of 3,450 medical and administrative professionals, MedStar Franklin Square is Maryland’s fourth largest hospital and one of nine hospitals in the MedStar Health system.

Since the 1980’s Karen has served in leadership positions in health care Human Resources at Columbia Hospital for Women, Sibley Memorial Hospital, and Guardian Health. She has been in her role at MFSMC for the past thirteen years.

Robertson-Keck has a bachelor’s degree from Concordia College, Bronxville, NY and received a master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from University of Maryland, College Park. She holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification.

She is a member and Past President of the Maryland Health Care Human Resources Association a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources.
