Highlights

Since 1969, Franklin Square has been known for OBTLC — obstetrics with tender loving care. It's not just a name; it is our way of placing expecting mothers at the center of all we do and of ensuring that they and their loved ones have happy and special memories of childbirth. This high level of care is why more than 2,700 babies are delivered annually at the Birthplace at Franklin Square - a state of the art facility designed for comfort, convenience and safety.

At Franklin Square our expert physicians provide personalized obstetrics and genecology care for annual well-visits and for the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the uterus, cervix or ovaries. We are at the forefront of advancements in medical and surgical treatments for reproductive system disorders, incontinence and chronic pelvic pain that many women experience as a result of surgery, childbirth, aging, adhesions or trauma. If surgery is required, our physicians are trained in the latest minimally invasive procedures that shortens recovery time and improves long-term outcomes for women.

Franklin Square's respected cancer program added a new state-of the-art Breast Center in 2006. In addition to board certified physicians, the center offers the latest technology for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. It was the first in the area to introduce 5 Days to Diagnosis, a service offered to reduce anxiety and shorten the wait time and for breast cancer test results.
At Franklin Square we are committed to keeping women healthy through education and wellness programs. A wide array of women's health classes and events including childbirth and parenting education, support groups and exercise programs are available along with Getting It Right, a special program that is designed to help women become engaged, energized and empowered to live a healthier life.
