Lung Cancer

Request a Free Thoracic Cancer Center Book

Our Thoracic Cancer Center physicians see more lung cancer cases than any other community hospital in Maryland. Studies show that hospitals and surgeons who do higher volumes of thoracic surgery have better results. Each year we treat approximately 250 new cases of cancer of the lung or bronchus—that volume places us in the top 10 percent of community hospitals nationwide. Experience counts.

In addition to primary cancers, our physicians treat many cancers that are metastastic to the lungs. Statistically, upwards of 50 percent of people diagnosed with a type of cancer will have lung metastases that create respiratory problems.

Our goal is to provide a cure when possible and to help patients at every stage of their illness live high quality lives.
