Tuition Reimbursement

Full-time nurses receive up to $3,000 and part-time nurses receive up to $1,500 per calendar year toward tutition for formal education or certification preparation programs. Nurses also receive reimbursement for fees paid for certification or recertification within their clinical specialty.

Hospital-Sponsored Educational Advancement

We support our nurses in continuing their education through both a hospital-based RN to BSN degree program in partnership with Notre Dame College and an online RN to MS program in partnership with the University of Maryland.

The Barbara Eerligh Scholarship Program

This scholarship was established in 1994 to assist Franklin Square Hospital Center in providing optimal care to patients. Each year during Nurses Week scholarships are awarded to individuals entering into a basic practice area of nursing and to current staff who are pursuing advanced and graduate training.
