The chairman of pathology, the administrative director and their staff are responsible for the management of the Laboratory. The staff pathologists and supervisors work directly with the chairman and director to supervise and manage laboratory operations. The laboratory of MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is divided into different sections, located on 2 North of the main hospital. A pathologist is on call during evenings, overnights, weekends, as well as, holidays and can be contacted by calling the hospital switchboard.
